VIRUS-FREE E-Mail: All Intertruss Hosting customer mailboxes are protected by our aggressive anti-virus scanning technology. Every inbound and outbound message passing through our servers is scanned for the presence of harmful attachments. If a virus is found, the message is automatically deleted. At one time our policy was to save these messages for recovery upon request, however we eventually determined that this was not necessary.

Our virus filters are updated once an hour, every hour. Despite our every effort to safeguard your mail, we can not guarantee the effectiveness of our system. Intertruss Hosting **strongly** recommends that you install an anti-virus software package on all of your home & office computers that are connected to the internet.

SPAM-FILTERED E-Mail: All Intertruss Hosting customer mailboxes are protected by our new MailGuard filter service, powered by Postini. Spam messages are now quarantined in your MailGuard Message Center, where you can review and retrieve messages at any time. In addition. a daily summary email is sent to your inbox every day at 5PM ET that contains a list of all spam received that day. It's easy to review your quarantine contents at a glance, and any legitimate messages can be retrieved with a quick click of the mouse.
