Important Information Regarding Automatic Removal of Messages
As a convenience to our customers, messages in the following WebMail folders are automatically deleted on preset intervals:
Spam - If you have elected to have messages marked as Spam be delivered to the 'Spam' WebMail folder instead of directly to your inbox, those messages will be automatically deleted once they are seven (7) days old. Deleted messages can NOT be recovered, so you should review your Spam folder regularly to ensure any legitimate messages are not deleted.
Trash - Messages deleted from any WebMail folder are purged immediately by default. If you change your WebMail settings to temporarily store deleted messages in the Trash folder, those messages will be automatically deleted once they are seven (7) days old. Deleted messages can NOT be recovered.
Sent - By default the WebMail system does not save a copy of sent messages in the Sent mail folder. If you change your WebMail settings to save a copy of sent messages, those messages will be automatically deleted once they are seven (7) days old. Deleted messages can NOT be recovered.
Intertruss Hosting may modify these deletion intervals from time to time as required. Any updates or changes will be published on this page.
